At midday on Saturday 13th June, Rich and I walked side-by-side onto the empty summit of Mont Blanc.
It's a long time since we decided to try to ascend Mont Blanc to raise money for charity, and the emotions as we made our way through the biting cross-winds up the summit ridge were overwhelming. We were the highest people in Western Europe and thoughts of Archie and Ross filled our minds as we gazed at the awesome views all around us.
An amazing experience but incredibly hard work, both physically and mentally. Full report to follow, but for now here's the proof...
